The manufacture of stone tools

Stone tools were essential items in prehistoric Malaysian societies. The shape and design of these tools evolved from crude Palaeolithic chopping stones, dating from about 35,000 years ago, into sophisticated polished stone tools during the Neolithic, about 2,000 BCE, when agriculture and more sedentary lifestyles began making inroads into the hunter-gatherer economy.
