Kuala Selinsing, a mangrove-forested estuary on the coast of Perak, is the location of several archaeological sites believed to have been the settlement of a late prehistoric seafaring community. Using evidence from human burials and artefacts, including pottery, beads, shells and glassware, the mangrove settlements are believed to date from the 3rd century BCE till about the 11th century CE.
