Spiders
The spider begins its web by making a scaffolding. It then adds spokes from side to side.
In existence since the Devonian period 400 million years ago, there are today probably more than 40,000 known species of spiders in the world. The number of species in Malaysia is not known, but most certainly runs into the hundreds, and many more species are waiting to be discovered and named.
