Songbirds
Birds of the order Passeriformes (all the perching birds), which contains more than half the world's birds, are sometimes called songbirds because of their ability to sing very well, which they do mostly during courting or nesting. Malaysia has a wide range of these birds, which can be found in all types of habitat, from rainforest to urban gardens. Some species have traditionally been kept as cage birds because of their melodious songs.
