Professor Dr Yong Hoi Sen was Professor of Zoology at University Malaya. As the author of four books and over 230 articles, as well as being a Foundation Fellow of the Academy of Sciences Malaysia and a co-recipient of Malaysia's National Science Award, Professor Yong is admirably qualified to head the Animals volume.
