Animals and people
The relationship between animals and the people of Malaysia is demonstrated in many different ways. The hunting of animals for food, the keeping of pets, the use of working animals in agriculture and transportation, the depiction of animals in currency and postage stamps, the use of animal products for decorative purposes—these are just a few of the examples of the importance which has long been placed on animals by the people of Malaysia.
