Taekwondo
Taekwondo was founded as a martial art in Korea approximately 5000 years ago. The first Malaysian students of the art learned from General Choi Hong Hi, a prominent figure in the global development of taekwondo as an organized sport. Malaysian taekwondo exponents have brought home medals from major international competitions.
