Scuba diving is a popular pastime which enables close-range observation of marine life. In Malaysia, divers encounter a myriad of life forms that exist only in the tropical seas. The Malaysian Sport Diving Association (MSDA) oversees the development and regulation of scuba diving in the country, and various local agencies offer international certification courses.
