Abdul Malik Mohd Salleh

Introduced to Malaya by the British in the late 1800s, tennis was initially played only by members of elite clubs. With the subsequent establishment of public courts and local competitions, however, the sport became a popular pastime. The Lawn Tennis Association of Malaysia (LTAM) has spearheaded the development of tennis in the country.
