Malay children’s games: Challenging body and mind

Many Malay traditional games promote the development of children’s physical and intellectual abilities. These games help to foster proficiency in areas such as balance, concentration, speed and accuracy. The common denominator for children, however, is having fun, and traditional Malay children’s games have survived because of the amusement they afford.
