Chinese and Indian religious arts and crafts
Many ceremonial and religious objects are the result of arts and crafts. In Chinese temples, as well as clan houses (kongsi), such objects include icons, lanterns and other articles of offering. Indian religious arts are diverse and include symbolic rice flour floor patterns (kolam), temple decorations, flower garlands and woven coconut leaf designs.
