Malay kites and tops
Kite-flying and top spinning are traditional pastimes. Kites are made and flown in several parts of Malaysia, but with particular enthusiasm along the east coast. The huge and highly decorative kites of Kelantan are particularly famous. That state is also well known for top spinning, although the game is popular throughout Malaysia.
