The Sepang Formula 1 Circuit is 5.543 kilometres long and the track features 15 turns and eight straights with access speeds of more than 300 kilometres per hour. It was completed in 1999.

The construction sector has been a driving force in the Malaysian economy, and in the process has transformed the country’s physical landscape. Government support has been strong, not only through the execution of its own construction work, but also through incentives, initiatives and the establishment of a conducive legal framework.
