Higher education
Malaysia's higher education sector provides opportunities for both its own citizens and for scholars from abroad. Tertiary education is delivered through 17 public institutions, supplemented by private colleges, private universities and university colleges, and branch campuses of foreign universities. The system offers offering everything from certificates and diplomas to first degrees and professional, technical and postgraduate qualifications.
