The ominous haze

Haze is a form of air pollution which is exacerbated at certain times of the year under specific weather conditions. In 1994 and 1997, Malaysia experienced two of its most severe haze episodes. The problem was especially intense in the Klang Valley, where it created poor visibility and contributed significantly to health problems.
