Voon Phin Keong

Land

Agricultural land begins to contract in area as it comes under pressure for conversion by a growing range of non-agricultural uses, such as urban and industrial development.

Malaysia's landscape has been subject to great changes in the 20th century as the country has advanced through various stages of economic development. The dynamics of land use changes are complex and largely driven by economic forces.
