Biodiversity management
Malaysia possesses extraordinary species diversity. But, as the country's landscape continues to be extensively transformed in the name of development, many of its plants and animals are threatened with extinction. Steps are now being taken to protect this rich natural heritage. A combination of in situ and ex situ projects have been introduced to help ensure continued biodiversity for the future.
