Seeded in a small tin-mining company established in 1974, the Sunway Group has grown to become one of Malaysia's best-known and most well-diversified conglomerates.

SunInc is an investment operations company with core businesses in construction, building materials and trading while SunCity is involved in the property development and investment and hospitality industries. SunInfra is the concessionaire for the Kajang SILK Highway.
The Group's flagship development is the flourishing 800-acre Bandar Sunway, located just 20 minutes outside the nation's capital city of Kuala Lumpur. The township is a veritable ‘resurrection' from derelict ex-mining land. Underlying its sponsorship of The Encyclopedia of Malaysia project is the Group's business philosophy of giving back to the community it serves.
